STEAM Consulting is owned and operated by Terry McAuley.
Terry started this business in the early 1990’s when she realised that there was a huge need for education and information on the underpinning principles that support the day to day practices in Sterilising Services.
This coupled with the realisation that many CSSD processes also required an understanding of logistics management, in addition to a high level of managerial skills required to support the staff and communicate with executive managers gave rise to the acronym that forms the business name – Sterilisation Training Education And Management [STEAM] Consulting.
Christine came on board at STEAM Consulting in 2016 and has been assisting Terry behind the scenes. She has been involved in maintenance of the STEAM Consulting website and assisting with Policy Development and the STEAM Consulting Pty Ltd newsletter.
Christine is a Registered Nurse with an extensive history both in clinical nursing and nurse education. Among her many qualifications, Christine has completed a MAppSc (Research), MAppSc (NsgStudies), GradDip Ad&Voc Edn, Certificate IV TAE, and the Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control Course. Christine is also a qualified Nurse Immuniser.
